About Marco Sperling

The artist

I am a German freelance 3d artist who has moved to Hannover recently.
But I don’t mind relocating to other areas if you need me for an on-site project or a position to be filled. Please do not hesitate to contact me if you think I could complement your team.

I am very passionate about modeling, texturing and shading characters and creatures for games and enjoy creating assets for level and backdrop scenery. Also I really like to wrap my head around ways to approach technical problems – e.g. when it comes to creating useful workflows.

The games industry has kept me fascinated ever since the days of config.sys and the Atomic Build Editor that shipped with the Duke. While originally pursuing a degree in computer science I discovered my interest for everything tagged cg. This spark of interest has increased and evolved into a passion and love for the third dimension thus making me change my plans and chase the white rabbit into the depths of the matrix.
